I am trying to move from dependency toward enough. This site is where I write about the attempt.
My name is Sumon. I live in Dhaka and work an office job. In the evenings I write, think, and slowly build toward something else: a life with my family under one roof, a small piece of land, a pond, a garden, less noise. I do not have this figured out. I am showing the work as it happens.
The writings
Most of what I write here comes from ordinary moments. A decision I made. A number I looked at twice. A conversation with my partner about what we actually need. I try to sit with these moments before I turn them into ideas.
This is not advice. It is a record of me thinking honestly, in public, over time.
Now
A short note on where things stand. What I’m working on, what I’m unsure about, what’s changed since I last wrote here.
What I build alongside this
This site explains how I think. Two other projects show how I try to put that thinking into practice.
The Passive Circle is where I work on online income and location-free systems. KorSheba is where I work on making tax and VAT simpler for people in Bangladesh. Both exist because ideas written down here need to be tested somewhere real.
If you are somewhere in the middle of your own version of this, figuring out what enough means for you, you are welcome to read along. I am not further ahead. I am just writing it down as I go.
